My wife's colleague forgot to check the oil in the engine and is 7000km over his service

Result= Major engine damage, some of the bearings have gone and the oil has become thick like tar

Dealers want some ridiculous $ to repair. Any advice as to where he can get it done for a reasonable $?

Tx guys

Eish Frank ...... that sounds like a complete engine ovehaul ..... if the oil is like that then it means only one thing ..... overheating.

He has 2 options find a different place to do the job.... or go to japan auto trading and find a good second hand engine.

Sorry Frank, i was meant to call you back yesterday about this.

Is the car driveable? meaning can it be delivered to me?
Need to have a look at the car before giving you the quote as so many things might need to be replaced in that engine depending on the level of damage.

Give me a call when you read this.
